Disney is one of the most recognizable and beloved brands in the world so it was critical to make the brand sing to connect potential cardholders to the Disney experience. To achieve the acquisition goals, the UI and UX embraced the brand ethos and was deliberately simple, smart and actionable. One key behavior of the target audience was the pride they felt when presenting their iconic Disney character credit card at the time of purchase. To connect users to this feeling, cards were heroically showcased so a customer could choose their iconic Disney card, bringing them a step closer to applying. In addition to listing all the benefits of being a cardholder, a points calculator helped to make the benefits more relevant and obtainable based on a cardholder’s spending habits.
